Members of the organizing Committee of Blogfest.Asia

Ladies and gentlemen

At the very outset, I feel honor to welcome you all to this auspicious occasion – Blogfest.Asia 2012 Conference.

As you all aware, today we are living in a fast changing world. With new emerging technologies and rapid expansion of internet, e.mail and e-commerce, access to global information and knowledge is now much easier than before. However, these phenomenal changes around the world is due to the triedless efforts made by the technologists and IT professionals. Everyone has realized that irrespective of the level of poorness the country has, information technology has been given as the top priority with the understanding that through sharing information and knowledge the path of development can be more easier. In this context, the role of bloggers, technologists as well as IT professionals is much important and crucial.

Blogfest.Asia – a meeting of Asian bloggers and technologists was held in Hong Kong and Malaysia in 2009 and 2010 respectively. It is a great opportunity for the Cambodia bloggers and technologists to meet their friends around the region and the rest of the world this time to share their knowledge and creativity. I thank the organizers to select our country – the Kingdom of Wonder to organize the important event this year.

We at the higher education need full support and encouragement from the professionals those who are creating new areas for our students to do research and build their careers. I strongly hope that the present conference will support our understanding and further contribute to the knowledge of our learners in creating new opportunity for them to explore.

Last but not the least, I sincerely hope that this rare opportunity given to the participants must be rightly attended so that the main purpose of organizing such an event can be fruitful. Further, I am convinced that our bloggers and technologies have enough courage and knowledge to face the future challenges in their emerging fields and to support the wider society in providing the benefits of information technology.

Please put all of your efforts to make this event successful and fruitful.

Thank you very much.
